What information appears on the map?

Vessel locations, departure ports, destination ports, container positions, and real-time movement. Click any vessel to see container numbers, carrier details, ETA, and vessel information.

Can I filter what's displayed?

Yes. Filter by shipment status, carrier, destination, date range, or custom tags. View only what matters like containers arriving this week or shipments from a specific supplier.

Does it work for air freight?

Currently, Map View focuses on ocean freight where geographic visualization adds the most value. Air shipments remain visible in Table View.

Can I share the map with people outside Beacon?

Yes. Generate shareable links for live maps or export snapshots. Share with customers, suppliers, or board members even without Beacon accounts.

How often does the map update?

Real-time. As vessels move and carriers push location updates, your map reflects changes automatically. No refresh needed.
